Restoration

A week ago I was sobbing in the shower. Crying, pounding the floor, scratching the walls, whining, the melodramatic works. It was awful, I was heartbroken, and I would cry multiple times a day for the next four days.

And right now, seven days later, I feel fine. I feel peaceful and content and happy and alive. Things are normal, I'm not the least bit upset about how life is turning out. I'm smiling about nothing and laughter comes easily.

God is good.
