Free Verse--Poetry In Which The Author Tells Meter and Rhyme to Suck It

You broke my heart.
I still love you
more than you'll ever know.
I just can't be in love with you anymore.
If she's who you want,
and if she's good for you,
and if she'll spur you on to love Him more,
then it is well with my soul.
But I will always be a phone call away,
will always walk to the parking lot with you,
will always listen to your stupid raps
and Literature jokes,
and will always help you with themes.
I just have to trust the He knows what is best for both of us
and is working it out in the world.
I love you.
