Truth

I have decided that I want more truth in my life. "There is more beauty in the truth, even if it is a dreadful beauty." Lee said that in Steinbeck's East of Eden, and though I read that book over a year ago, I can still quote that line perfectly. I want the beauty of truth and I'm willing to deal with the dreadful, painful beauty that the truth brings, too. I'm sick of the lies that help us make it through the day (thank you, Pills by the Perishers). I just want honesty and the beauty of truth to permeate my life, even if it takes some pain.
