Lyrics & Symbolism

My morning began with a bowl of Cream of Wheat and OneRepublic.
We've got all the right friends in all the wrong places,
So yeah, we're going down.
We've got all the right moves and and all the wrong faces,
So yeah, we're going down.
Fill the day with 120 pages of Dostoevsky's Brothers Karamazov and 5 hours of singing kareoke with 3 Asians, and my day ended with The Middle by Jimmy Eat World.

It just takes some time, little girl,
You're in the middle of the ride.
Everything, everything will be just fine,
Everything, everything will be alright.
And so my evening ends with optimism. For now. Maybe the pessimism of All The Right Moves will take hold tomorrow morning, because there is something stunning and intoxicating in its melody. But for now, little girl, everything will be alright.
