I've been working on it for three days. I've reworked and rewritten and obsessed over making each word right, inserting asyndeton and parallelism in the perfect spots. And I thought it was finally perfect, finally inspiring and optimistic, when I showed it to my dad.
He told me to change the first sentence (I always open really poorly).
And then he challenged me to mention God.
And I am blown away at the fact that I don't know where to put Him in my speech. Does my speech matter at all if I'm just saying it for the glory of myself and not the glory of my Love?
