My first thought upon seeing the date at 7am was "Wow, August. The year's half over. Where exactly did all the time go?"
And it wasn't until 15 minutes ago that I realized the year was half over a month ago. The year's now 7/12 over. And 2009 didn't just fly away, it's been cram packed with so much stuff that it's hard to remember it all, and that's why it feels so empty.
I think because our grade 12 year was filled with drama, essays, analysis and hanging out that we didn't get the chance to even see how fast it went by. It's always when you're having fun, time goes by in a brisk pace.
