Not doing homework is sometimes good for your soul.
Like the nights when you start sharing your testimony with your friend down the hall, and then you're making mashed potatoes and laughing, sharing stories, songs, and laughs around a firepit, sitting by the tire swing til almost the next day.
And you stay up til 2 talking to Jesus.
The next day has more homework to do, but you're a-okay with that.
